Square and Match galloped onto Wall Street on Thursday in a sign that tech startups may still find gold in public markets. Mobile payments firm Square priced its initial public offering of stock at $9, lower than expected. Square shares jumped out of the gate and were up some 45 percent to $13.07 at the close of trading on the New York Stock Exchange. Match Group, the new firm which operates dating apps Tinder and OK Cupid, also scored well in its first date on Wall Street as the market warmed to its stock offering.
